Breakfast bar ran efficiently by two lovely ladies. Friendly atmosphere and packed to the gunnels with breakfast, brunch, second breakfast and lunch ideas! I was definitely spoilt for choice. Actually it took me a while to decide! In the end I had Mandy's whammy burger - boy does it fill you up. It was full of workmen when I arrived all chomping at the bit. Rapid service and piping hot food. The queue went down quickly. Extensive menu that I could read even without my glasses! One guy asked for something not on the menu and the reply was, "if we have the ingredients we're good to go." Great customer focused attitude. There's a seating area outside well away from the A6. Try it - you won't be disappointed. They close at 2:00 pm on weekdays but it was 2:05 pm when I left and they were still serving! Would I go again? Yes. Value for money? Oh yes! I was stuffed! Would I recommend it, YES!

When I cycle or go out walking in the area this family run business is always on my route! The whammy burger is a meal in itself. Great for greedy bellies! Don't get me started on the wraps or breakfast tray! The quality of the bacon, burgers and sausage is excellent (no cheap catering sausages here)! Buns are fresh, but I do have one problem... Knowing what to choose! Too spoilt for choice and only one stomach. If you're out on your bike (motor or push), you can phone your order through and your grub will be there waiting for you! It can be busy but service is generally very fast. You can clearly see the kitchen and watch your meal being prepared which I like and there's a 5 star hygiene rating. Seating is available. Atmosphere is great with a welcoming host and lots of banter - a real local gem. They have some crazy cups too! Love 'em.

Absolutely love this place, we always stop here when delivering in the area. Best burger I’ve ever had. No grease, full of flavour and portion size for the money is absolutely brilliant. Thank you for providing us with amazing food not the best pics but was a struggle multitasking
